FAMILY PROMISE OF HAWAII SELECTED FOR OFFICE MAKEOVER

 

Honolulu, HI – In celebration of National Get Organized MonthSM, the members of Hawaii Association of Professional Organizers (HAPO, Inc.) selected Family Promise of Hawaii to receive an office makeover. "Our members feel that they can contribute to the community by donating their time and organizing services to an organization that serves the community," says HAPO’s president, Karen Simon. Family Promise of Hawaii helps homeless families with children to escape homelessness by providing them with resources to help them transition to sustainable independence.

On April 2, 2010, a team of professional organizers will spend one day working with program coordinator, Christy MacPherson, and her staff to purge, declutter, and organize Family Promise of Hawaii’s office areas, donation storage areas, and files. The result will be an organized, efficient office that will benefit both the staff and the families they serve.

YMCA's CAMP ERDMAN SELECTED FOR OFFICE MAKEOVER


Honolulu, HI -- In celebration of National Get Organized MonthSM, the members of Hawaii Association of Professional Organizers (HAPO, Inc.) selected YMCA’s Camp Erdman to receive an office makeover. “Our members feel that they can contribute to the community by donating their time and organizing services to an organization that serves the community,” says HAPO’s president, Karen Simon. Many nonprofit organizations submitted applications and it was difficult to select only one recipient.

On March 14, 2009, a team of professional organizers will spend one day working with assistant director, Morgan Casement, and her staff to purge, declutter, and organize Camp Erdman's office areas, desks, storage areas, and files. The result will be an organized, efficient office that will benefit Camp Erdman's staff, guests and campers.
